Dr. Abhijit Deshpande is a practicing sleep specialist, dedicated to the evolution of this specialty. After successfully completing his fellowship in Sleep Medicine, Dr. Abhijit got American Board Certified and has been exclusively practicing Sleep and wake disorders for more than 27 years. His volume of experience amounts to over 30,000 patients. He has mentored many physicians in the Specialty of Sleep Medicine to get American Board Certification. In addition, he has trained PSG technicians. He is involved in various research projects including impact of sleep apnea in pregnancy. His other interesting research project involves GERD and Sleep apnea.

During extensive practice, educational and clinical, in the United States, he was drawn to the fact that the Indian population is hugely undiagnosed in this area. With this in mind, he came back to India.

Currently, Dr. Abhijit practices clinical sleep medicine in India and the United States. He is actively involved not only in patient care in the form of diagnostic and therapy aspect of the patient but also in various research programs at the Institute as the MD & CEO of International Institute of Sleep Sciences (IISS). He has list of research papers with Peer-Review Journal and over 54 citations.

Dr. Irani is has extensively worked in field of Sleep Medicine for more than 14 yrs. She is certified in clinical sleep health, USA. She has till date managed more than 5000 clients with various sleep issues. Her major interest of treating sleep problem is in Insomnia (difficulty initiating, maintaining and early morning awakening) with non-medicinal approach. She is also Yoga and Naturopath Therapist. She has done her teacher training course from Ghanti Mitra Mandal, Thane. She has been guest lecturer for various conferences and faculty in conducting workshop on Sleep Disorders. This also includes Pan –India program for sleep problems faced in students in association with Times of India group.

She has managed various Clinical Trial studies which has direct application to the society.
