These are small, benign growths on the cervix that may cause irregular bleeding.
Treatment Options :
- Polypectomy :The polyps can be easily removed during a pelvic exam using forceps. The removed tissue is typically sent for biopsy.
- Observation : If the polyp is small, asymptomatic, and benign-appearing, it may simply be monitored.
Follow-up : Regular Pap smears and pelvic exams are recommended to monitor for any new growths or changes.
