I have been working in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology for the past 13years after completing 3years of MS degree course and have gained a wide range of experience in India.
Currently I am working as independent O&G Consultant AND IVF Consultant attached to various hospitals.
Previously I had worked at KK women’s and children's hospital, Singapore. I had also worked at Grant Medical college and sir J J group of hospitals,Mumbai as an Assistant professor. As a part of this job I had to do clinical as well as teaching work this has helped me achieve my competence in managing pregnant women with medical disorders like diabetes, chronic hypertension, cardiac, liver and renal diseases, connective tissue disorders and haematological disorders.
I enjoy working in the multidisciplinary setting of the labour ward and have achieved competence in management of women in labour, CTG interpretation and handling obstetric emergencies. I am able to perform normal delivery, assisted delivery, vaginal breech delivery, twin deliveries, Caesarean sections, manual removal of placenta, repair of perineal tears, cervical tear obstetric hysterectomy independently.
While working in K K Hospital Singapore I got exposure to latest technology including Robotics. Also, I got opportunity to observe work and learn protocols at K K hospital invitro fertilisation (IVF) centre.
